Ordering Information

HOLIDAY CLOSING AND SHIPPING: Please select Expedited Shipping after December 19 for Christmas delivery. We'll get your order to the post office ASAP, however can not guarantee USPS service. Our office is CLOSED from 2 p.m. on December 21 until January 4, but we'll make sure your orders during this period are processed (on a less frequent schedule). We ship orders the same or next day after we process them. We won't charge you until we process and ship your order. As always, support local retailers if possible. Many of our titles are available at bookstores and gift shops troughout New Jersey and suburban Philadelphia and New York. Also, both Amazon and Barnes & Noble (bn.com) stock most of our titles. STANDARD MAIL: Flat-rate $4.95 shipping and handling for each domestic US address — for any quantity! Our standard method for books, calendars, and videos is US Postal Service Media Mail. Average transit time after we fill your order is 3-14 business days, depending on your location for this method.

EXPEDITED: For an extra $3.00 per item, we’ll ship your order by 1st Class/Priority Mail for estimated delivery 2-5 days after we fill the order. (Within ZIP codes beginning with 080-084 and 169-199, standard shipping is almost as fast.) For delivery on a specific date you can request OVERNIGHT and 2nd-DAY DELIVERY which is available at significantly higher cost -- please call. For FOREIGN DELIVERY (including CANADA) email us for shipping charges.

Multiple (Gift) Shipping Addresses: If you're ordering items for yourself and gifts to be shipped to another address, or multiple addresses, enter each shipment as a separate order. (Sorry, our system currently can't handle multiple shipping addresses on a single order.)

Ordering Multiple Quantities: If you're ordering more than one of any item, in the shopping cart be sure to click the word "update" below the quantity box so that the order completes! (Yes, sorry, we know the word is small!)

Tracking: Our order processing system is not integrated with USPS data so order confirmations don't include tracking numbers. We can manually provide this with your email request..

Multiple packages for one order: We ship certain items (clothing, notecards) in separate packages from books, calendars, and videos. Your order may arrive in more than one package at different times.

Fax orders: (609) 812-5098. Please be sure to include the expiration date with your credit card number and signature to authorize the charge. Include your daytime phone number in case of questions.

Credit cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Sales Tax: 6.625% state sales tax must be added to orders shipped to New Jersey. Shipping is taxed.

Returns/Refunds: We want you to be happy with your order! And why wouldn't you be, it's from Down The Shore! :) But if you're not, just let us know and we will make it right. Email us ( downshore@gmail.com ) a description of the problem with your order number or, if not available, the items ordered, order date, and address. You can make a return for a refund of the full item cost, less shipping, within 30 days of purchase. But, please email us first — we may be able to make an adjustment before you bother with a return!

Privacy! Our policy is to completely respect your privacy. That's why we have never rented, sold, or shared our customer or mailing list. And why we don't bombard you with sales and marketing emails! (We hate that too.) We protect your personal information in our office and don’t retain credit card numbers; we shred paper documents with personal information. When you place an order from our website, rest assured, your information is protected on a third-party secure shopping cart.

Bookstores, Gift Retailers, Libraries, Schools and Institutions: We're happy to process orders on institutional vouchers or official purchase orders. Please contact us for wholesale discounts, distributors, or accounts with us.
