Leslee Ganss

Leslee Ganss is a snarky commentator, amateur rodeo rider* and graphic designer. She was the Art Director for The SandPaper for a long time, and is currently Design Director for Down The Shore Publishing. She lives on the edge of a salt marsh at the Jersey Shore where she casts judgement on things that annoy her. She also loves turtles. Too Many Summers is her second book.

L. Ganss is an artist, cartoonist, book designer, and upcycling craftsperson. She was art director in the early years of The SandPaper on Long Beach Island at the New Jersey Shore, after graduating with a degree in illustration from the Philadelphia College of Art. She lives with her son, husband and two water dogs surrounded by salt marsh and Barnegat Bay, where she is often found rescuing terrapin hatchlings from oncoming traffic.
