Tim Cain

The late Tim Cain worked as an award-winning reporter, columnist, and editor for most of the local newspapers in the Ocean City area as well as for national and state publications. He was especially masterful at oral histories and writing profiles of local personalities.
He also taught writing at the elementary, secondary, and college level, having worked as an instructor at Temple, Drexel, Stockton, and other universities. He received his B.A. at Penn State, his M.A. from Villanova, and completed doctoral work at Temple University.

Active in social justice causes, he held posts in Amnesty International and other human rights organizations, and — proud of his Irish heritage — he had a passion for Irish history.
